....School Board Treasurer Jim "SeaBass" McCourt. McCourt seemed a tad grumpy Monday night as more informed school board members seemed to hesitate before writing any more big checks. McCourt, on the other hand seems poised to continue his "Damn the struggling taxpayers, let's spend money" ways. When it appeared that yet another motion he supported was going down in flames, there was an underlying tone in McCourt's voice as he stated,"We seem to be stopping...just waiting to see what happens...how do you run a school district [that way]?"
